Just wondering, if Kipor diesel generators are good value to buy. Friend of mine, who runds a welding shop, swears by them. No matter that they are cheap (you can buy a second-hand Kipor diesel generator 5.5kW for about $950) they are quiet and reliable. But, he imports and sells them, so isn’t entirely objective here…
Anyway, I need diesel generator to provide my home workshop and garage with emergency power. And while I’m a handyman of some skills, I don’t want to spend too much time doing maintenance, or repair works on the generator that I use very rarely – blackouts only.
So, if somebody has any experience with Kipor diesel generators, between 4 and 7kW, I’d apprecite an honest opinion. I want to educate myself, before spending money on something, that I can hardly afford, but must have.
